“ I had an absolutely amazing experience here this past weekend. The wait staff was unbelievably nice, and stayed attentive to our needs throughout the whole meal. Let me start by saying the bread is killer. I would come here just to eat the bread... that how good it is. The food though is really what made this place stand out, the dip platter appetizer is unlike any other Ive tried, all 3 dips were very rich in flavor. Once the main course came, I got one look at it and completely forgot to take another picture. The smell just drew me in immediately. Not only was it seasoned perfectly, it was also cooked perfectly as well. Top to bottom the whole experience was exactly what I wanted to cap off a day on the boardwalk. Its not often you find a place like this, and Im sure Ill be back here again soon. ”
“ An exceptional meal from start to finish! Yuri and staff were friendly and accommodating, and the food was amazing from the homemade pita to the perfect fish and kabobs. Highly recommend! Also best Turkish coffee ever!! ”
“ Amazing food and service!!! Unlike other places, the food is very fresh, even in the offseason. The staff was WONDERFUL with my aging Mom and Yuri mixes great drinks, especially my vodka martini... Ask him about Standart Vodka, its worth the experience. Call ahead and reserve a more private seating area with a room to yourself... Just a great place with fresh well seasoned food that is a must visit every time we come down... ”
“ Food was absolutely fantastic. This was the best I had since moving to the US a year ago. Really, just come with all your friends to share so you can try as many dishes as possible. Service was great too. ”
“ Authentic Turkish food. Definitely not to be missed! The walnut dip is similar to romesco, the grilled eggplant is traditional with tomatoes and lemon juice, and the boreks are made in house. Kunefe is a great way to end the meal! ”
“ On a romantic winter weekend getaway, we were so glad we happened across Aroma! Its just a block from the Bellmoor Inn, where we stayed, in the direction of our walks to the beach or boardwalk. The service was warm and friendly, even though we arrived a half hour before closing, and we felt as if welcomed into someones home. Our waiter was knowledgeable and kind as he explained the Turkish foods to us and made recommendations. On this occasion we just had appetizers baba ganoush with naan, and grilled shrimp on a bed of arugula and beets, both wonderful. Who knew beets were so delicious?! We look forward to returning again, soon! ”
“ My last review of Aroma was from three years ago during the pandemic, so it needed replacing. Back then, we usually ordered carry out of the mixed grill, which is a ton of wonderfully seasoned meat dishes. This time, we dined here for their Monday night special, which includes their AMAZING red lentil soup, their delicious Aroma chopped salad, a choice of entree, and their exquisite baklava. For entrees, we had the chicken skewers and the lamb kofte. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The lamb kofte patties were nicely seasoned and equally delicious. The place was nice and cozy and very clean. The service was great. Cant wait to come back again. ”
“ We started with the spinach cakes and baba ganoush and were not disappointed. My brother cant stand fried spinach and he loved these. We Could not decide on one entree so we got a little bit of everything with the meat platter grilled chicken, beeflamb patty and sausage. Make sure you try the grilled green pepper!what a unique flavor. Uri is very informative and makes a great drink! We loved the decor and music. The coffee was strong and wonderfully paired with pistachio baklava. It was a lovely night out at this cozy welcoming spot ”
